You can either give us a call or send us an email. Upon availability, we can schedule your free, no-obligations first fitting.

When should I schedule my first fitting?

We’d like to talk to you as soon as you’ve ordered your gown! We work on a first come, first serve basis and we book up quickly. If you know when your gown is expected to arrive, we can schedule you in advance. If you bought your dress off the rack, we suggest you call us as soon as possible.

What do I need to bring to my first fitting?

You will need to bring your wedding gown and the EXACT shoes you will be wearing with it. That’s all!

I want to ad sleeves/change the neckline/add my own special touch to my dress, can you help me?

Yes! We would love to help you make your gown YOU, we offer custom designs in addition to alterations. Bring us your ideas and we can help you create the dress of your dreams!

I want to wear my mom’s/grandma’s/vintage gown for my wedding, can you restore and fit the dress to me?

Yes we can! We offer cleaning, restoration, and customization of vintage wedding gowns and veils. Please contact us to schedule a consultation so Nilah can see the condition of the gown and discuss your options.

I bought a sample or once-worn wedding gown, do you alter them?

Yes we do! We alter sample and once-worn gowns often. We also offer wedding gown cleaning if needed.

I want a custom made wedding gown, how do we start?

Please send us an email with your wedding date and some inspiration photos of your dream dress. Once we know what you’re looking for we can give you a price estimate. Prices are predicated on time as well as the cost of the materials. As the process of custom making a gown takes 4-12 months and we book up quickly, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.

I'm having a multicultural wedding! Do you alter Indian/Chinese/Korean/African etc. garments?

Yes! We do many multicultural weddings every year and we would be happy to assist you with yours.

What are your prices?

All our pricing for bridal gown alterations and veils is predicated on time. Once Nilah has met with you, we will be able to give you an exact cost for your alterations, and we do not begin work without your approval.

Can you alter my mom's/bridesmaidis/flower girl's dress?

Yes we can! They can either come with you to your fitting or schedule a time on their own. Please have anyone in your bridal party give your name when they contact us.

I will be pregnant at my wedding, when should I schedule my fitting?

Please give us a call as soon as possible so we can discuss scheduling your first fitting.

If I'm planning to lose weight before the wedding, should I wait to schedule my fitting?

No, we would still like to see you sooner rather than later so we can see what needs to be done to the gown and answer any questions you may have. We always do a final fitting about two weeks before the wedding in case of changes in weight or anything else.

What should I do with my dress after the wedding? Do you clean and preserve wedding gowns?

We offer wedding gown cleaning and preservation if you’d like to keep your gown for years to come! Please give us a call for packages and pricing. We can also turn your wedding gown into a Christening gown, or other keepsake.
